The Mandalorian (2019) Episode 1

My wife wanted Disney+ so I got to see The Mandalorian. I figured I would skip this until at least the end of the first season and then binge it.

So far it seems to focus on this Boba Fett looking MF named Mandalorian. I call him “Mandy”. I spend a lot of time thinking about his name. Man DeLorean. Mandy L’Orean. Mandalo Ryan. I have time to do this because he spends a big chunk of the middle of the episode learning to ride a fat ostrich.

He’s a murderous bounty hunter, so I assume he will go through some life altering experience and embrace love and stop murdering. Otherwise I shouldn’t root for him.

Baby Yoda is in this, but it can’t be our Yoda. Someone said this is after the empire fell, so it must be after the Ewoks took over the galaxy. Unless he’s aging backwards like Merlin, which would be appropriate.

Werner Herzog is in this too, and Brian Posehn. I love them both.
